Promises: Detangles, Repairs Damage, Controls Breakage & Shedding!

Botanical Reconstructor is a nutrient rich hydrating conditioner which restores natural moisture balance. It revives dry hair with a moisture rich complex containing seven different conditioning agents. Assists with the reconstruction if damaged or weakened areas inside and along the outer hair shaft. Natural emollients and botanical extracts leave the hair with elasticity, body and shine.

Directions: Apply to clean dry hair after shampooing with AtOne with Nature Hydrating Shampoo or Itchy Scalp Shampoo. Leave on for 3-5 minutes, rinse thoroughly. For a more intensive treatment, leave on for 10-20 minutes depending upon hair condition and texture.

Ingredients: Aqua, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Stearalkonium Chloride,Dicetylcdimoium Chloride, Tocopheryl Acetate, Octyl Dimethyl Paba, Polysorbate 20, Mineral Oil,Emulsifying Wax, Peg-40 Castor Oil, Sodium PCA, Panthenol, Magnesium Citrate, Polyquaternium-7,Exracts Of: Chamomile, White Nettle, Pine Cone, Lappa, Rosemary, Ivy, Arnica, Watercress, Garlic, Calendula, Linden, Cornflower, Matricaria, Hypericum, Parfum, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Imidozolidinyl Urea, Simethicone.

The Truth: AtOne Bontanical Reconstructor has a milky white color with a very smooth yet sticky consistancy. When you put it in your hands its very slippery, so you automatically know this conditioner has a lot of slip. It has a very mild fresh scent due to the natural extracts in the ingredients. I love this conditioner. I use it once a week mixed with my Elasta QP DPR-11, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Honey. After I rinse out this mix, I notice that my hair is stronger, thicker and much more manageable and of course no tangles!

Some people have put this conditioner in the "protein' category simply because the label says "Reconstructor", however; there is not 1 drop of protein in this conditioner whatsoever! That's what I love about it. It gives strength (due to the bontanical extracts), its moisturizing and it does not leave your hair hard! :)

Surprisingly, AtOne Botanical Reconstructor Conditioner has similar ingredients (Dimethicone, glycerin, Mineral Oil, Panthenol, Ivy, Arnica, Chamomile, etc.) to KeraCare Humecto Conditioner. So if you're looking for an alternative to Keracare Humecto, AtOne Botanical Reconstructor is where its at! I'm not saying you'll get the same results but fairly close to it, check it out (similar ingredients are in bold).

Keracare Humecto Conditioner ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Copolyo, Isostearate, Polyquaternium-32 and Mineral Oil, Quaternium - 80, Panthenol, Dimethicone, Extracts of: (Nettle, Pine, Burdock, Marigold, Rosemary, Ivy, Arnica, Linden, Corn Flower, Wild Chamonile, St. John's Wort, Water-cress, and Garlic) Perfume, Methylparaben, Propyparaben, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazonlinone

Quick tip: If your hair is cone sensitive, I would suggest you deep condition with this on dry hair first, then shampoo or mix it with another moisturizing conditioner.

Price: $6 CAD, $4 USD 8oz.

@ Dyva - Girl you know it!! Its great.

@ Annonymous - You'll know you're cone sensitive when your hair feels like there is build-up on it or filmy. Mixing it with another conditioner will help.

  4. I do not agree that this conditioner does not contain protein because the plant extracts are the proteins. Anything that says it rebuilds, restores, balances, etc, has proteins in it. It may not be a very strong one but indeed it does have proteins. Remember, not all proteins are created equal. As a matter of fact, some proteins provide elasticity like collagens, some reconstruct like keratin and others, some rebuild and provide strength and even provide shine. So let's not put all proteins in one basket, that would be detrimental to our hair. Good luck.
