Truth: I'm very disappointed with this conditioner. It was part of my Sally Beauty Supply Haul earlier this month. I've always eyed this conditioner, but since it was on sale I decided to try it. I've been using it as a co-wash every week this month and unfortunately it does nothing for my hair. It has a nice mild fresh scent that lingers in the hair for approximately two days. It rinses out easily due to it's thin consistency. However, I experienced very little slip while rinsing the conditioner out; therefore, it was hard to detangle. It's moisturizing capabilities are very low as my hair constantly felt dry (after my hair was completely air dried) as opposed to hydrated. I think the dryness was due to the amount of proteins (4) in the conditioner. Once my hair was dry, it did not shine as promised on the label; however, I did notice a subtle smoothness to my hair. I love smooth hair! For my thick 4b/c textured/relaxed hair, this conditioner was not sufficient in delivering my moisture/detangling needs. I think this conditioner is best suited for those who have fine relaxed or natural hair.

Pros:
  • Fresh scent lingers in hair
  • Smooth hair
Cons:
  • No detangling properties
  • Very little slip
  • Not very moisturizing
  • Thin consistency

  1. Was it supposed to be a co Wash conditioner or a conditioner that was supposed to be used after a shampoo?

  2. A few months back I purchased a sample packet of the conditioner and got similar results :/. We have a similar hair texture so I'd imagine that's why!
