Have Your Say: L.O.C vs L.C.O Method Poll

Saturday, December 07, 2013

Lately, I've been obsessing over how much I love the L.O.C and L.C.O Method. However, I have a favourite out of the two. I prefer the L.C.O method much more in comparison to the L.O.C Method. I find  that when I do the L.C.O Method, my hair remains soft, smooth and hydrated as opposed to the L.O.C Method which leaves my hair a little on the dryer side. I'm curious to know if you have a preference in which method your hair loves!!

My question to you is, which method do you prefer? Do these methods even work well with your hair? Let me know.

Also, I'm interested in knowing what works for you and what products you're using to lock in the moisture.

  2. I prefer the L.C.O method. Like using grapeseed and safflower oil for sealing.
L.O.C left my hair a little drier.

  3. The products that I use are Chi Kertain Mist (L), Kimmaytube leave in (C), Paul Mitchell super skinny serum or macadamia natural healing oil (O). I consistently get soft moisturizer hair!

  6. I am definitely a LCO girl too. Keeps my hair nice and smooth longer also for my skin too. I use my regular lotion and then seal with coconut oil. Leaves me with very soft and moisturize skin all day long to help during the winter months.

  7. I have natural kinky dense hair and I use LOC. I have never tried LCO but just the thought of it makes me think that my hair may get too oily. But LOC is working for me and I live by the motto "If it aint broke, don't fix it" so I'm not going to venture out into other moisturizing methods since LOC method is leaving my hair VERY soft and moist :)
I wear my hair in braids so for the L, I use a braids spray, for O, I use EVCO and for the C, I use Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream. Keeps my hair moist for two days.

  9. I lean more towards the L.C.O. method most days, but the L.O.C. method works well for me also! But lazy days, I may skip "L" and just do the C.O. :) But Shoogie's hair loves LOC better.

  13. I like the LOC method. Most oils have a 7 ph and the cream I use is between 4.5 and 6. I feel it locks in the moisture better for me. I use scurl (old formula), olive oil, and giovanni direct leave in or hair one

  14. I did L.O.C.O 3 days ago and my hair is still nice, soft, and shiny. Has anyone tried that method? I just use a lil bit for each step. It felt heavy at first but now its growing on me
