Stretching My Relaxer: My Coily New Growth

Saturday, December 13, 2014

I'm approximately 12 weeks post relaxer. This stretch was pretty simple i.e. Ikept up with my moisture/protein treatments, protective styled frequently to minimize manipulation etc. Usually throughout my stretch I can never seem to take my hands out of my new growth! I just love the feeling of my kinky coils. It feels so nice between my fingers. I know I'm not the only one :) So I picked up my camera and took a few shots just to see what it looked like up-close. I was shocked to see how coily my curl pattern was. I'm definitely in the 4b range. I fall in love every time I stretch :)

Do you play in your new growth too? How long do you stretch your relaxers for?

  2. OMG!!!!! I do the exact same thing. Every time I stretch I'm always in my new growth. I love how my coils feel. I always wondered if other people did the same thing. I think I have the same hair type as you as well.
