I locked for 20 years and now am working with my hair natural, with flat twists, buns, curly afros, etc. Castor has been my saving grace for over 20 years. It is thick, but I mix it with whatever I have, shea, olive, tea tree and melt it a few seconds in the microwave. UMMMMM, ummmmmmmm good for your hair!

Me too. Except I didn't use JBCO, I used the regular Walmart laxative kind. I nearly ran mad with the itching. It was so bad I woke up in the middle of the night to re-wash my hair and get it off my sore scalp. Its fine when I use it on my hair, it doesn't bother me but when I did the targeted scalp rub, it was awful.
