My Hair Today: Loose Waves

I wore my hair down today, despite the crazy weather (severe winter winds, never again). I moisturized and sealed last night then I braided my hair in pigtails.
I unraveled it in the morning and this was the result! Braiding your hair after moisturizing and sealing, is an easy & effective way to retain moisture in the hair.
After being exposed to the harsh elements, my hair is back in a bun until it gets warmer! :)

I think I'm going to do the opposite this spring/summer. Here in NC the warmer weather is hot and humid and I had to have my hair down because it sticks to my face and neck. I've been looking at using scarves as a protective style. It keeps my hair covered and away from my face and neck.
