This video illustrates how I dry my relaxed hair. I do the T-Shirt Method after I Shampoo and Deep Condition my hair. I've been doing this for about 1-2 months and I love it. It's a staple technique.

This is one of the next items on my wish list. I've heard amazing things about it from the wonderful ladies on the Hairlista Inc. Social Network and my new stylist recommended it as an overnight pre-poo treatment.

Advantages of using Jamaican Black Castor Oil:

Tropic Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil is known to cleanse toxins from the scalp, nourish and thicken the hair, stimulate hair growth, moisturize dry brittle hair, repair split ends, and give hair body and bounce.

I'm thinking about applying this to my scalp twice a week to cleanse my scalp thus promoting growth. My scalp is well cleansed from shampooing twice a week. However, adding Castor Oil to my regimen will reassure me that my scalp is staying clean. This may be a great way for me to reach my goals even faster.

I'm finally relaxed and it feels good. I did a quick video showing my hair and the final result. I had a better than expected time at the Salon. My hair grew a good amount. I was pretty shocked at how my ends held up. I didn't trim and I was soooo excited to not have to go through that again! The Bun Challenge on Hairlista Inc. is really working as well as moisturizing and sealing in sections. My ends did not CHANGE at ALL.

Since I had a good amount of growth in just 10 weeks, I think I'll be consistent and officially start relaxing every 10 weeks. No need to go beyond that. Check out my video if you haven't already.



My stylist also recommended AG Products, specifically the conditioner & Jamaican Black Castor Oil as a pre-poo the night before I shampoo. He said I'd love it. Have you ladies tried AG Products? If so, how did you like/dislike it?

Alright, so I went to a new salon today and everything turned out pretty good. My stylist was a gentleman by the name of George. He used ORS Olive Oil Lye Relaxer on my hair and I must say that my hair feels very good right about now. I'm pleased!

He Relaxed, Neutralized, Deep Conditioned (AG Intensive Conditioning Treatment), Dried, Blow Dried and Flat ironed my hair. He used a really light serum by RUSK all over. My hair has a nice sheen to it and it's very light and bouncy :-) I must say that he was kinda rough with my hair at times (i.e. detangling and towel drying) but as soon as I warned him, he stopped..which is good!


What I loved most, is that the Salon is in a MALL! So free parking and the food court is just downstairs. I was very happy about that!!!! I think I'll go back :-)
