I'm Excited! I Purchased Bee Mine Products

Thursday, August 25, 2011

Just out of the blue I decided to try a couple products over at Bee Mine. I had to kill the curiousity since I hear so much about this line, I figured I might as well try it out for myself :)

Here's what I ordered:

1. Juicy Moisturizing Daily Spritz 8 fl oz.

2. Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer (Original) 8 oz

For all the Bee Mine Lovers out there, have you tried these products? What can I expect? What else do you like from this line?

  1. Well I can tell ya, they're both lovely. (I bought the samples first) The Luscious Cream Moisturizer is my fav. A little really does go a long way and it's very moisturizing and softening. Smells delish. As for the Juicy spritz, it works great, BUT I found the scent to be overwhelming. It smells great, but it's too strong and lingers all day. After a while I was sick of it. But it did what it said it does. When I placed my real order (non-samples), I didn't order the large size of the juicy spritz. HTH.

  2. I didn't really like the Juicy spritz. It felt really sticky for some reason when I used it on my relaxed hair as a moisturizer. It didn't feel as sticky (but still was) on my new growth. But some people still like it so maybe it's just my hair.

The luscious balanced cream moisturizer is an amazing product. It leaves my hair feeling very soft and smelling great! But there is hydrolysed wheat protein in it and so I would say be careful of that.

Another product you could try is the bee lovely daily moisturizing conditioner. Even the sample size lasts a while. I use it for my co-washes and it is definitely one of the most amazing instant conditioners I have ever used. Incredibly moisturizing! Good luck, I hope you like them

  3. I have had great success with Bee Mine Balancing Cream Moisturizer! It smells awesome and is super moisturizing for everyday use. When I was flat ironing my hair every morning I would use it at the end if the day to re-moisturize before bed. Now that I have gotten better and stopped using daiy heat on my strands, I use the BCM morning and night. Also try the Bee Loved Hair & Scalp Moisturizer; it's great for scalp massages and super dry ends once or twice a week, but a bit heavy for daily sealing. Hope this helps! (BTW...I love your blog ;-D )

  7. Hi Sunshyne,
My review is going to be a little disappointing, but since everyone's hair is different I hope you will be pleased with your purchase.
    1) the spritz: left my hair very sticky. I would retry the product; i.e. a little less, a little more different ways, leave in, M&S'ing etc, still sticky. =(
    2) the moisturizer: it was heavy to me when I used it to M&S. A little definitely does go a long way. I found that I couldn't use it very well for a leave in either. =(
I won't repurchase any other their products.
I hope you enjoy tho =)

  8. Luscious is great esp when stretching! It's so versatile, I use it to seal or mix it with water to make a spritz when wearing braids!!! Another plus point is it smells divine.

The Deja's hair milk and the Beautiful Deep Conditioner are also great products but if I had to choose only one product to repurchase it would be Luscious hands down.

  9. I have mixed reviews about the luscious balanced cream moisturiser. It made my hair really soft and manageable but it also weighed my hair down(was using it twice a day)and it gave me protein overload(due to the hydrogenated wheat protein),which was hard to figure out at first because my hair did not feel dry or brittle at all but would start to break off as soon as I applied the moisturiser. The breakage reduced once I decided to stop using it, which made me realise that the culprit was the luscious moisturiser. If your hair can handle protein well, then this is an awesome product. I have tried the Bee mine deep conditioner as well, which is quite good. My hair responds to it well
